
The Executive MBA (EMBA) at the University of Sydney is a global program designed to equip experienced professionals with advanced business acumen. Through a blend of self-directed online learning and intensive face-to-face residential blocks held internationally, the program focuses on experiential learning, AI, disruption, and adaptability. You will work with business leaders and global organizations to tackle complex, real-world problems, fostering a global mindset that integrates economic principles with ethical considerations.
The program comprises self-directed online primers and five 2-week residential blocks held approximately every four months over 18 months. Units build cumulatively, with leadership at the core, culminating in a major strategic project addressing a significant business issue.
A minimum of ten years of work experience is required. Applicants must also complete a selection interview and provide a statement of motivation. Exceptional candidates without the standard qualifications may be considered based on equivalent experience and achievement.
A non-refundable deposit of $A2,000 is required upon acceptance, deductible from the first residential installment. Corporate sponsorship, self-funding, FEE-HELP (for eligible Australian citizens), and salary sacrificing are available payment options.
