Students without a Pass in Pendidikan Seni Visual at SPM or equivalent must Pass the Visual Aptitude Test (VAT) or Drawing Test or have a design portfolio review. Students continuing to bachelor’s degree programmes at Taylor’s University are required to meet the respective programmes’ entry requirements.
Fees shown are exclusive of the 6% Service Tax for international students, which is applicable on most fees and charges except for International Security Deposit and EMGS application fees. The Service Tax rate and taxable fee components are subject to change as determined by government regulations.

The tuition fee for international students is USD 10,642 per year. Please note that a 6% Service Tax will be imposed on non-Malaysian citizens effective July 1, 2025.
The Foundation in Design programme has a duration of 1 year and is offered on a full-time basis only.
International students need to pass with a minimum of 5 credits in SPM or O Level, or a minimum of 3Bs in UEC, or possess equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government. Students without a Pass in Pendidikan Seni Visual at SPM or equivalent must also pass the Visual Aptitude Test, Drawing Test, or have a design portfolio review.
Accepted English proficiency tests include IELTS (Overall Band 4.0), TOEFL iBT (31), MUET (Band 2), UEC (C8), Taylor's EET (Overall Score 4.0), or Taylor's IEN (Level 1- Grade B or Level 2- Grade C). Passing SPM English is also accepted.
The programme has three intake months: February, April, and August.
Yes, Taylor's University offers scholarships such as the Taylor's College Merit Scholarship, Talent Scholarship, and Sports Scholarship. The Merit Scholarship can cover full tuition, a 70% waiver, or a 50% waiver, with application deadlines varying based on intake.
