The Foundation Year at the University of East London (UEL) is designed to prepare you for success in your chosen undergraduate degree. Students will be notified of any fee increases at re-enrolment.

How to apply

1. Accept Offer and EnrolUpon receiving and accepting an offer of a place, you must complete the formal enrolment process. This confirms your student status at UEL. Ensure all personal details are accurate and agree to abide by university regulations and policies. You will also need to arrange payment of your tuition fees or confirm your sponsor.

2. Provide Required DocumentationYou are required to submit proof of your qualifications, which must be original certificates or certified notifications of results. All documents must be in English or accompanied by an official certified translation. You will also need to provide proof of identity, usually a valid passport, or two alternative forms of identification as specified by the university.

3. Meet Non-Academic Requirements (if applicable)Depending on your circumstances and the programme, you may need to meet non-academic entry requirements. This could involve providing additional information regarding age, health clearance, or criminal convictions. UEL will assess this information according to its published policies.

4. Obtain Student ID CardAfter completing enrolment and providing necessary identification, you will be issued a UEL student ID card. A photograph will be taken or submitted during the enrolment process. You are required to carry and display your student ID card on campus and keep it safe.
