This Master of Science (MSc) program in Global Healthcare Management is designed to equip you with the skills to adapt to the ever-changing international healthcare industry and develop sustainable practices. You will gain a broad range of skills and training, preparing you to lead healthcare teams or organizations, develop your own practice, or start an innovative healthcare venture, either in the UK or internationally. The curriculum focuses on understanding complex health policies, strategizing within the global economy, and developing leadership and crisis management skills. You'll learn to design for sustainable health at organizational and national levels, and explore healthcare communication, promotion, and digital health innovations. The course emphasizes the critical role of evidence in healthcare decisions, enabling you to evaluate and conduct healthcare research and analyze health systems globally. Industry speakers from the NHS and international health systems will contribute to the learning experience.
Curriculum
The full-time MSc program is designed to be completed in 1 year, with 7 compulsory modules. An optional Professional Experience pathway extends the program to 2 years, allowing you to apply your learning in a professional industry setting. Modules are delivered through a variety of teaching sessions including lectures (in-person and online), seminars, workshops, tutorials, and guest speakers. A Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) supports online debate and collaborative learning. Contact time is 35 hours per 20-credit module and 60 hours per 60-credit module, supplemented by independent research.

Entry requirements
Honours degreeA 2:2 honours degree in a related subject. If your degree is in an unrelated subject, an interview may be required, and relevant professional experience will be considered.
IELTS6.0 overall with no skill below 5.5
International students must ensure their qualifications meet the university's entry requirements. Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) may be considered for applicants without traditional qualifications but with relevant professional experience.
