This graduate certificate is designed for individuals with a non-science undergraduate degree or those holding a Certificate IV in OH&S/OHTA 201 with relevant experience. It equips you with specialist technical knowledge to develop innovative safety strategies and prevent ill health in the workplace. You will gain expertise in WHS risk management, ergonomics, and identifying and managing workplace hazards.

Certificate IV in Occupational Health & SafetyCertificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety plus relevant work experience.
Other professional qualificationsApplicants with other relevant professional qualifications (e.g., registered nurses) and at least two years’ relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis by the Faculty.

English proficiency requirements must be met if English is not your first language. Documents not in English must be officially translated. Applicants with overseas qualifications will have them assessed for equivalence to Australian standards.

Tuition (home)Domestic students may be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) or a UOW-subsidised fee reduction of up to 75% off the listed fee.
