Curriculum
The Graduate Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology requires the completion of 36 credit points. This includes 12 credit points of core units and 24 credit points of elective units. Students must select a minimum of 18 credit points from Part A Electives and a maximum of 6 credit points from Part B Electives. The program provides comprehensive training across all stages of the clinical research pathway, from conception and design to statistical analysis, translation into practice, and policy implementation.

Entry requirements
Medical DegreeA medical degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification.
Health-related Bachelor's Degree (Honours)A bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline with first or second-class honours from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification.
Health-related Bachelor's Degree (Pass)A pass bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent. Applicants must demonstrate work equivalent to a first or second-class honours bachelor's degree or pass a preliminary examination prescribed by the Faculty.
Undergraduate Medical Degree (Concurrent)Completion of the first 4 years of an accredited undergraduate medical degree, with a supporting letter of recommendation from the head of the clinical school/medical program for concurrent enrolment.
All students entering the program are expected to have some clinical experience. International qualifications will be assessed for equivalency.
