
This 120-hour microcredential offers a foundational understanding of graphic and digital design principles. You'll gain a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, focusing on core Adobe Creative Suite applications to prepare you for creating designs for websites and publications. The program covers graphic design principles, digital asset creation, layout optimization, and how to organize design deliverables. You will use software tools to produce a small portfolio of projects that demonstrate your design skills.
The program covers essential topics in graphic and digital design, including writing for digital content, introductions to design principles, and practical application of Adobe Creative Suite.
A minimum of 50% of the program must be completed through Okanagan College.
