The History Program at California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) equips students with the skills to explore the human experience, analyze historical interpretations, and communicate ideas effectively both verbally and in writing. The program encourages an examination of events from both local and global viewpoints. A unique feature of the curriculum is its focus on the United States' relationship with the Pacific Rim, covering the Americas, the Pacific Islands, and Asia.
