This four-year Honours Bachelor of Aviation Technology program is the only aviation technology degree program of its kind in Canada. Seneca has over 50 years of leadership in aviation education. The curriculum is designed to develop your theoretical and practical knowledge in aviation technology, preparing you to safely operate complex aircraft. Beyond flight, you will gain knowledge in business management, airport operations and planning, and air carrier administration, providing a broad understanding of the aviation industry and its diverse career paths.
Curriculum

A Transport Canada Category 1 medical certificate is required before starting the program. Students are strongly recommended to have a valid Canadian passport or a United States Entry Visa, as some flight training may be conducted in the US. Prior flight experience (like a PPL) may be credited at the discretion of the Chief Flight Instructor, but training beyond a PPL makes an applicant inadmissible. It is recommended, but not mandatory, to have some introductory flight experience.
