How to apply
1. Find Your ProgrammeSelect up to three study programs that align with your interests and career goals. Each applicant can only be admitted to one program.
2. Check Application DatesFor international applicants, the deadline is May 1 for non-EU/EFTA countries and July 1 for EU/EFTA citizens and eligible non-EU/EFTA applicants. The academic year begins on September 1.
3. Check Eligibility and Prepare DocumentsReview the general, program-specific, and language proficiency requirements. Prepare all necessary documents, including undergraduate diploma (translated if not in English or Lithuanian), transcripts, motivation letter, and references. Ensure your previous degree was obtained within the last 5 years if you are a non-EU/EFTA applicant.
4. Pay Application Fee and Submit ApplicationSubmit your application online via apply.vu.lt. The application fee is 100 EUR, payable via Flywire. Your application will only be processed after the fee is collected and all required documents are submitted before the deadline. The application fee is non-refundable.
5. Confirm Acceptance and Pay Tuition FeeYour application will be assessed within 30 calendar days. You will receive an acceptance or rejection notification via the online system. You must confirm your acceptance within 7 working days. Non-EU/EFTA students admitted to non-state-funded places must pay the annual tuition fee within 15 calendar days of the offer.
6. Arrange Your ArrivalAfter paying the tuition fee, you will receive a final acceptance letter. For non-EU citizens, Vilnius University will send a mediation letter to assist with visa/residence permit applications. You can apply for dormitory accommodation via the application platform after paying the tuition fee.
