This Bachelor's program in Information Systems and Cyber Security is the first of its kind in Lithuania, focusing on the critical areas of cyber threat detection, prevention of cybercrime, and protection of digital assets. It is designed to equip students with skills relevant to the increasing threats of electronic warfare, economic espionage, and cyberattacks. The curriculum combines informatics engineering knowledge with practical skills for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining secure information systems. Graduates will be well-prepared for roles in both public and private sectors, domestically and internationally, and will be aligned with the growing trend of remote workplaces.

A motivation letter is required. Applicants from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan must submit an OMPT-A certificate with a minimum passing grade of 55%. Documents accepted in English or Lithuanian; translations must be official and verified.

How to apply
1. 1. Find Your ProgrammeChoose up to three study programmes that match your interests and career goals. Note that you can only be admitted to one programme.
2. 2. Check Application DatesFor non-EU/EFTA countries, the deadline is May 1st. For EU/EFTA citizens and non-EU/EFTA citizens with a 90-day visa-free period, the deadline is July 1st. The academic year starts September 1st.
3. 3. Check Eligibility and Prepare DocumentsVerify you meet the general, programme-specific, and language requirements. For non-EU/EFTA applicants, the gap since your last qualification should not exceed 5 years. Prepare required documents, including translated and certified copies if necessary. A motivation letter is mandatory.
4. 4. Pay Application Fee and SubmitSubmit your application and required documents via apply.vu.lt. The application fee is 100 EUR, payable through Flywire. Applications are processed only after the fee is collected and all documents are submitted before the deadline.
5. 5. Confirm Acceptance and Pay Tuition FeeApplications are assessed within 30 days. Accept or reject the offer within 7 working days. EU/EEA/other foreign citizens admitted to non-state-funded places must pay the annual tuition fee within 15 calendar days of the offer. Upon payment, you receive a final acceptance letter and information for visa/residence permit applications.
6. 6. Arrange Your ArrivalApply for a visa or residence permit depending on your citizenship. If accommodation is needed, apply for a dormitory via the application platform after tuition payment. Further information for new students is available.
