The Law LLB Honours degree at Newcastle University provides a comprehensive understanding of legal principles and develops essential transferable skills for a career in law or other professions. You will study in a globally engaged law school that emphasizes both knowledge and empathy. The standard three-year program can be extended to four years with an optional placement or international exchange. Throughout the course, you will focus on the foundations of legal knowledge and cultivate practical legal skills such as case analysis, legal drafting, research, negotiation, and mediation. Opportunities for practical experience are available through pro bono schemes and work placements. You can also broaden your horizons by applying for an international exchange at one of our partner institutions worldwide.
