Our LLB (Hons) degree provides a comprehensive academic legal education, equipping you with essential legal, academic, and practical skills for a career as a solicitor or barrister. It also prepares you for other professional roles if you choose not to pursue formal legal qualification. The program is delivered by experienced academics and practising lawyers, integrating real-world clinical legal experience into the curriculum. You will develop a critical understanding of the law and its broader social, political, and economic contexts. The LLB structure is flexible, with core modules covering the foundational subjects in the first two years. This allows you to specialise in your final year by selecting optional modules in areas like criminal law, commercial law, or social justice, tailoring your studies to your specific interests.

GCSE English at grade C or 4 (equivalents accepted). If you do not meet the IELTS requirement, a pre-sessional English course is available. Places may be available through Clearing with potential flexibility on published entry requirements. Advanced entry into the second or third year is possible for transfer students, assessed on a case-by-case basis with official transcripts and module descriptors required.

How to apply
1. Apply through UCASSubmit your application via UCAS for standard entry. For advanced entry or transfer from another university, submit through UCAS and email required documents to admissions@bradford.ac.uk by 31 August.
2. Prepare DocumentsFor advanced entry, provide official transcripts, all module descriptors (including learning outcomes), and relevant qualifications.
3. Attend Open DayBook an Open Day to learn more about the university and the course.
Accreditation
Satisfies the Bar Standards Board (BSB) requirements for the academic component of barrister training (if graduating with 2:2 or above). Provides a grounding for aspiring solicitors preparing for the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE), but does not grant exemptions from the academic stage. Graduates may be eligible to progress directly to the Bar Practice Course in England and Wales without needing the Graduate Diploma in Law.
