Law with Criminology LLB (Hons)

This LLB Law with Criminology degree combines a strong foundation in English law with an in-depth understanding of criminal behaviour and the justice system. You will explore key legal principles and develop essential legal skills while also investigating the societal challenges posed by crime and how law and criminology work together to address them. The program fosters an active and inclusive learning community, with opportunities to engage with diverse international perspectives and a supportive teaching team. Graduates will be well-equipped for various career paths, including further legal training to become a barrister or solicitor, or roles such as a probation officer or policy advisor.

Curriculum

The program is structured over three years, with an optional fourth year for study abroad. Teaching involves a blend of lectures, seminars, workshops, and independent learning, with approximately 12 hours of contact time per week. Students can expect a workload of around 1,200 hours per year.
