2. Meet PrerequisitesEnsure you meet the minimum requirements: at least three years of industry experience as a practising domestic electrician and a relevant Level 2 qualification. You will also need to complete the 'Domestic Electrician Experienced Worker Assessment Skills Scan' document.
3. EnrolmentIf deemed suitable, you will be enrolled onto the qualification. You may need to undertake or already possess Level 3 Awards in BS 7671 and Initial Verification/Testing, depending on your existing qualifications.
4. Complete AssessmentsAchieve the qualification by building an e-portfolio of evidence from your on-site work, passing an online multiple-choice examination, and successfully completing a recorded professional discussion.
5. Further Assessments (if applicable)If pursuing the Domestic Electrician Experienced Worker Assessment (EWA) route for Gold Card status, ensure you enrol onto the separate AM2ED assessment within 18 months of your qualification registration and complete it after achieving this award.
