Practical experience is gained through working on EastlondonLines, a live online news site run by the university, allowing you to build a professional portfolio.
The program combines compulsory modules focusing on core journalism principles with a range of optional modules allowing for specialization. Your studies culminate in a final major project, which determines whether you receive an MA or MSc award.
