The Master 2 Amicable Dispute Resolution program is designed for professionals seeking to enhance their skills in resolving conflicts outside of traditional court proceedings. It covers various methods such as mediation, conciliation, amicable settlement hearings, participatory procedures, and collaborative law. The program balances theoretical knowledge with practical application through workshops and simulations, equipping students to effectively integrate these amicable resolution techniques into their professional practice. It also provides the necessary competencies to become a certified mediator or justice conciliator.
The program is delivered over two semesters, with a total of 113 hours of instruction. Classes are held on Fridays and occasionally Saturday mornings. It is possible to spread the two semesters over two academic years. The program may include optional internships and the writing of a professional report or thesis.
This program aims to qualify individuals to become mediators or justice conciliators, or to integrate amicable dispute resolution processes into their existing professional practice.
This program is exclusively open to continuing education students.
This fee is specific to continuing education. The program is eligible for CPF, FIF PL, and other lifelong learning funding options.
