
The Master in Applied Quantum Technology is a joint degree program offered by four Dutch universities of applied sciences, preparing you for the rapidly evolving field of quantum technology. This field is key to developing powerful new computers, secure communication systems, and sensitive sensors that can help solve complex global challenges. The program provides a practical, hands-on approach, combining knowledge of quantum software, photonics, and electronics, with a focus on skills applicable in real-world scenarios. Students will gain broad and practical knowledge through a curriculum that spans multiple institutions.
The program is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of quantum technology, involving study at four partner universities. Learning activities include lectures, lab work, and projects, with a blend of on-campus and online sessions. Travel between universities may be required up to twice a week.
Graduates are prepared for a range of roles within the rapidly expanding quantum technology sector. The program equips students with highly valued professional and interdisciplinary skills.
Sufficient knowledge of fundamental mathematics, physics, and/or programming is required.
In addition to tuition, students are expected to cover accommodation and travelling costs.
The application deadline for EU/EEA students is August 15. For non-EU/EEA students, the application deadline is April 1.
