Entry requirements
Bachelor's degreeA Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts (Licence 3 Arts Plastiques) or Design (Licence 3 Design) is recommended for admission to M1. A strong personal artistic practice and writing skills, demonstrated through an artistic portfolio and a written statement of artistic approach and theoretical stakes, are required. Knowledge of art history and art theory (a minimum of two years of coursework) is also necessary.
French Language ProficiencyC1 (demonstrated by the ability to read theoretical texts and write academic methodology)
Admission is based on a review of your application file by a pedagogical committee. For M2 admission, a research proposal of approximately five pages is required, outlining a research topic, problematic, artistic and theoretical references, and its connection to your personal artistic production.
