Curriculum
The Master in Biotechnologies program spans two years (M1 and M2) and offers four specialized pathways. The High-Throughput Biotechnologies and Analysis (HD) pathway focuses on applying data science methods to large biological datasets (omics) and artificial intelligence. The second year (M2) is available as initial full-time study or through a work-study contract (apprenticeship or professionalization contract). Courses are largely shared across pathways, with specific projects for initial study students during the periods when work-study students are in companies.

Entry requirements
M1 EntryBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Technology, Engineering Sciences, Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology and Chemistry. Students who have completed the first year of the ESBS Biotechnology Engineering program are also eligible.
M2 EntryCompletion of the first year of a Master's degree in Biotechnology, Drug Sciences, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, or Bioinformatics. Engineering graduates (Biotechnology) or those who have completed the second year of the ESBS Biotechnology Engineering program are also considered.
Admission to both M1 and M2 is based on a pre-selection of the application, considering academic background, grades in relevant subjects, motivation letter, and professional project. This is followed by a mandatory oral interview. Prior laboratory internship experience is an advantage.
