This Master's program in Interior Architecture - Spatial Art (MIAR) focuses on developing your individual creative potential. Graduates of the Master's program are qualified for independent or employed positions in various fields within interior architecture and spatial design. The program prepares you for roles that require analytical, creative, and organizational skills.

Spatial design for living, working, leisure, education, and care
Development and production of furniture, interiors, and furnishings
Design and creation of temporary spaces for brand presentations, trade fairs, exhibitions, showrooms, theater, and film
Planning, organization, and management of construction projects
Conception and design of spatially based communication processes for companies, institutions, and associations
Creation of virtual worlds (CAD, web design, multimedia design)

Entry requirements

Bachelor's or Diploma degreeIn Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a comparable spatial/design-related field.

Bachelor's degree durationIf the Bachelor's degree was completed in six or seven semesters, a supplementary one or two-semester preparatory course ('Angleichstudium') is required.

All applicants must submit a portfolio, a letter of motivation, and their own specific professional question. A successful aptitude interview is also required. Applicants must demonstrate German language proficiency at C1 level. Admission is competitive and based on a selection process.
