The tuition fee for the 1-Year Full-Time programme is HKD 250,000. For part-time study, the fee is HKD 125,000 per year. An application fee of HKD 600 (non-refundable) and caution money of HKD 350 are also required. Note that these fees are from a different program (Sustainability Leadership and Governance) and may not apply to MA TESOL. Please verify with the program directly.
How to apply
1. Establish AccountCreate an account on the HKU Taught Postgraduate Admissions online system using your full name and a valid email address. A unique username will identify your account for future use. If applying for multiple programs, create a separate account for each.
2. Complete Application FormFill out the online application form accurately. The system has inactivity timeouts, so save your progress regularly. You can preview your application before final submission.
3. Pay Application FeeSubmit the non-refundable and non-transferable application fee online. Once paid, your application details cannot be changed. An acknowledgement email with an application number will be sent upon successful submission.
4. Submit Supporting DocumentsUpload required supporting documents (transcripts, degree certificates, etc.) via the designated portal. Documents not in English must be accompanied by certified English translations. Documents are not returned after submission.
