La Trobe University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an AI-first, fully online degree designed for mid-career professionals, managers, and technical specialists. It aims to equip you with the skills to lead teams and organizations in AI-enabled and data-driven global business environments. The curriculum emphasizes AI literacy as a core leadership capability, embedded across strategy, operations, marketing, finance, people, and governance. This approach enables graduates to lead AI adoption responsibly, make informed decisions with AI support, and create value through human-AI collaboration. The program is delivered 100% online in accelerated six-week study blocks, offering flexibility for working professionals to study anywhere while continuing their careers. You can tailor your learning through specializations in AI, Analytics and Cybersecurity; Digital Health; and Leadership and Governance, or by selecting from a range of elective subjects. The MBA develops practical management and leadership capabilities for technology-driven markets, focusing on designing AI-enabled business strategies that create sustainable value and are grounded in responsible and inclusive practices. Through industry-aligned assessments and applied strategic analysis, you'll address real business challenges. The curriculum is co-designed with global industry leaders and enhanced with AI tools and insights, including collaboration with OpenAI, allowing you to graduate with a portfolio of AI-driven business solutions.
Entry requirements
Master of Business AdministrationMinimum WAM of 60% or equivalent for Postgraduate Fee Support (domestic students only).
The qualification awarded on graduation is recognised in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) as Level 9 - Masters Degree. All information is indicative and subject to change for 2026. Applications for domestic students for courses commencing in 2026 open in August 2025. International students can apply all year round.
Fees
Tuition (international)—
Tuition (home)Standard full fee: $40,000 per 120 credit points (full-time annual load). Postgraduate fee support (domestic students): Up to 25% fee reduction ($32,000 per 120 credit points). Eligibility and terms apply.
Living—
Fees are indicative for 2026 and subject to change. 120 credit points represent full-time study for one year. Fees depend on the type of place offered, course, eligibility, and financial support. Domestic students may be eligible for FEE-HELP.
