The Master of Education programme at Taylor's School of Education is designed to prepare you for leadership, innovation, and research roles within the field of education. Students without a qualification in related fields or relevant working experience may need to undergo and pass a bridging module. A research proposal must be approved for any of the above conditions. Candidates may join IEN preparatory courses to achieve the required IELTS score.
Fees are reviewed annually and subject to change. Effective July 1, 2025, a 6% Service Tax will be imposed on non-Malaysian citizens on most fees. Fees shown are exclusive of this tax.
Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
You need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall or a TOEFL iBT score of 60. Scores are valid for 2 years from the examination date.
A Bachelor's degree in education with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 is required. Alternative requirements include a CGPA of 2.50 or 2.00 with at least three years of relevant experience, subject to internal assessment. Equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government are also accepted.
The tuition fee for international students studying full-time is USD 14,384. Please note that a 6% Service Tax will be imposed on non-Malaysian citizens on most fees effective July 1, 2025.

Taylor's University offers scholarships such as the Taylor's College Merit Scholarship and Talent Scholarship for 2026, which can cover full tuition, 70%, or 50% of fees, awarded based on academic achievement or talent.
