The Master of Finance in Financial Technology (FinTech) program at HKU Business School is designed for individuals seeking to gain expertise at the intersection of finance and technology. This program provides a comprehensive understanding of both traditional financial principles and the rapidly evolving landscape of financial technology. Students will explore areas such as digital currencies, blockchain, AI in finance, and regulatory technology.

Preference will be given to candidates with two or more years of related work experience. For qualifications where English was not the language of instruction or examination, one of the above English language requirements must be met. IELTS and TOEFL tests must be taken within two years prior to September 1 of each admissions year for the 2026 intake onwards.

Applicants need a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. For English proficiency, a minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (with no subtest lower than 5.5) or a TOEFL score of 80 is required, unless English was the language of instruction or examination.
