Entry requirements
Medical DegreeA medical degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification is mandatory for entry. For the Community Ophthalmology stream, applicants should be medical graduates working in an ophthalmology unit in countries without established vocational training programs. For the Post Vocational Ophthalmology stream, applicants should be overseas-trained specialists from countries with established vocational training programs and either have completed the requirements to practice as ophthalmologists in their country of residency or be eligible to undertake further fellowship training there.
