Maryville University offers an online Master of Science in Cybersecurity designed to equip you with advanced technical and leadership skills to protect organizations from cyber threats. The program emphasizes hands-on learning through a virtual lab and provides opportunities to gain practical experience via the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, offering cost-free cybersecurity services to clients. You will learn to defend systems and data, and develop the expertise needed for leadership roles in the field.
The curriculum covers a range of essential cybersecurity topics, including IT management, cyber defense, incident response, auditing, data security, risk analysis, and cloud security. Students will take six core courses (18 credits) and four electives (12 credits), allowing for specialization in technical or business/leadership areas. The program is structured to prepare students for industry-recognized certifications.
