The Master of Science in Cybersecurity (MSCS) is a coursework-based graduate degree jointly offered by the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) and the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS). A S$5,000 deposit is payable upon acceptance (non-refundable, non-transferable, deducted from first billing). An application fee of S$50 applies. A one-time miscellaneous fee is billed annually. Tuition fees do not cover textbooks or course materials. Students are responsible for travel, accommodation, and miscellaneous expenses. Fees and grants are reviewed annually and subject to revision. Withdrawals after payment are non-refundable.
You need a good honours degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline with strong mathematical training. Alternatively, a good bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years of relevant industry experience is also accepted.
You must provide proof of English proficiency with a TOEFL iBT score of 100 or higher, an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, or a certification for English as the Medium of Instruction.
For Academic Year 2025/26 and after, the tuition fee is S$63,220 per year, inclusive of 9% GST. This fee is based on the shortest candidature period, and additional fees may apply for longer study durations.
The programme duration is 1-2.5 years for full-time study and 2-4 years for part-time study.
