The Master of Science in Gastronomy is a research-focused program designed to deepen your understanding of food and its cultural significance. You will conduct independent research culminating in a thesis, contributing new knowledge to the field. This program hones your critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, preparing you to address complex challenges in food and gastronomy. You'll explore interdisciplinary perspectives, drawing from arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences.
This research-based program primarily involves thesis work. Students are required to complete specific modules in their first year.
Graduates can pursue careers in various food-related sectors.
Candidates who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take an English Proficiency Course.

International applicants need a Bachelor's degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent. Other entry pathways exist for candidates with lower CGPA scores, potentially requiring rigorous internal assessment or relevant work experience.
Accepted English language tests include IELTS Academic with a score of 6.0 overall, MUET Band 4, or a score of 109 in the Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP) by ELS. A Bachelor's degree taught in English is also accepted.
