The Master of Science in Technology, Design and Leadership for Learning (MSc(TDLL)) programme is designed for professionals interested in becoming learning technologists, e-learning specialists, instructional designers, or IT coordinators in educational or corporate settings. It explores interdisciplinary theories, learning design principles, emerging technologies, and pedagogical approaches to enhance human learning and performance. For qualifications obtained from institutions where the language of teaching and examination is not English, one of the above English language proficiency proofs is required. Starting from the 2026 intake, IELTS and TOEFL tests must be taken within two years prior to September 1 of each admissions year.
Tuition fees are subject to university approval. A non-refundable application fee of HKD 600 and caution money of HKD 350 apply for full-time study. Part-time study tuition is HKD 125,000 per year with a non-refundable application fee of HKD 300.
For the 1-year full-time study, the tuition fee is HKD 250,000 per year. Part-time study tuition is HKD 125,000 per year. A non-refundable application fee also applies.
The programme can be completed in 1 year of full-time study or 2-4 years of part-time study.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is required. Preference is given to candidates with at least two years of related work experience. English proficiency must be demonstrated through IELTS (minimum 6.0 overall, 5.5 in subtests) or TOEFL (80+).
