It leverages cutting-edge research, advanced facilities, and experienced faculty. Students are required to complete 40 units of study, with a minimum GPA of 3.00 (B-) required for graduation. At least 32 of these units must be graduate-level courses within the subject or related disciplines.

Proficiency in English is expected as it is the medium of instruction. Relevant work experience, particularly in mechanical or robotic engineering, is highly desirable. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission, as selection is competitive.
The fees are for the full program and are inclusive of 9% GST. Singapore Citizens are eligible for a 60% rebate, Singapore Permanent Residents and International alumni receive a 40% rebate. An application fee of S$100 (exclusive of GST) is required. Fees are subject to change and review.
The full program fees for the MSc in Materials for Energy Innovation & Sustainability for AY2026/2027 are S$52,100, inclusive of 9% GST. This fee excludes living costs, accommodation, and travel expenses.
Applicants need a Bachelor's degree with at least Second Class Honours or equivalent, and proficiency in English, demonstrated by a TOEFL iBT score of 85+ or IELTS Academic score of 6.0+. Relevant work experience is highly desirable.
