Entry requirements
Undergraduate StudyA cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on the last 60 semester hours of study.
Undergraduate CourseworkCompletion of a minimum of 30 semester hours of undergraduate liberal arts courses, including three hours of science with a biological component or Human Behavior in the Social Environment.
Advanced Standing ApplicantsGraduation from a Council on Social Work Education accredited baccalaureate program within the past five years, a letter grade of 'B' or better in all social work courses, and a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
An interview with the Admission Committee may be required for both regular and advanced standing applicants. Students with a BSW from a CSWE-accredited program may be exempt from foundation curriculum courses by passing a proficiency/challenge exam with a score of 80 or better.
