This Master's program is designed to equip nurses and midwives with the advanced knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes necessary to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP). You will explore key concepts such as person-centered care, professional ethics, autonomy, empowerment, collaboration, and leadership. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible to apply for registration as a Registered Nurse Prescriber (RNP) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland. Depending on your prior qualifications and professional experience, you may be eligible to complete a Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate in Advanced Practice.
Curriculum

Entry requirements
DegreeA 2nd class honours (2:1) degree minimum in nursing or a related discipline. In exceptional circumstances, clinical experience and continuing professional development may be considered.
IELTS (Academic or Indicator)6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each category.
Applicants must be registered as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and have at least three years of post-registration clinical experience within the last five years, with at least one year in the specific area of practice. A written commitment from your host organisation to support you for the clinical practicum is required.
