How to apply

1. Check EligibilityReview the prerequisites and exceptions for the math placement test on the program page. Some prior coursework may exempt you.

2. Register for the TestEmail MSVUMath@msvu.ca at least 24 hours before your desired test date to register. State the specific date you wish to write the test.

3. Prepare for the TestEnsure you know your MSVU mail and password to access the test site. Practice questions and answers are available online.

4. Take the TestOn the scheduled date and time, you will receive an email with a link and password to access the online test. The test is multiple-choice, has a 2-hour time limit, and allows a non-graphing calculator. No outside resources are permitted.

5. Receive ResultsYou will be contacted within 24 hours of writing the test. Scores are for course placement recommendations and do not appear on your transcript.
