Graduate Entry Medical Programme (GEMP)Completed Bachelor's degree or in final year of study towards a Bachelor's degree. No NBT required for GEMP applicants.

Selection is based on a Composite Index (CI) which considers matric academic results (60% weighting) and National Benchmark Test (NBT) scores (40% weighting). All applicants for first-year entry must write the NBT in-person by August 17. NBT results are valid for three years; only the first attempt from the most recent year is considered. Incorrect ID numbers on applications or NBT registrations may prevent score retrieval. No transfer applications are considered. Applicants currently studying or who have studied at a tertiary institution should complete their studies and then apply for GEMP.
