This MSc program is designed for professionals working within the Ministry of Defence (MoD), armed forces, and the international defence industry. It aims to equip practicing engineers with the essential knowledge and skills to excel in military aerospace engineering, airworthiness, and safety roles. The course is delivered part-time, allowing students to continue their full-time employment while studying. The curriculum covers a broad spectrum of aerospace engineering, airworthiness, and safety disciplines crucial for managing complex military aviation platforms. Taught by leading academics from Cranfield Defence and Security and the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing, with contributions from industry experts, the program offers unique military-focused subject areas not found elsewhere.
