
This minor introduces you to the fundamentals of interactive narrative design, using traditional storytelling techniques as a foundation to engage audiences actively. You will collaborate with students from various creative disciplines to develop multidisciplinary projects, including art installations, board games, digital games, theatre performances, and escape rooms. Through workshops led by industry professionals, you will learn to combine text, visuals, sound, technology, and interactivity effectively, discovering how interactive narrative design can enhance opportunities in your chosen field.
The minor is structured around two main projects and interactive narrative labs. The curriculum focuses on both theoretical foundations and practical application of interactive storytelling.
Storytellers skilled in interactive narratives are in demand across various sectors, including the game industry, journalism, museums, film, theatre, social organizations, and advertising. This minor equips you with the skills to identify and leverage opportunities for interactive projects in the market.
Students are selected based on a CV, study progress review, and a cover letter (1 A4). A matching interview may be required. Continual selection process up to the application deadline.
