This Master of Science program is designed for students from diverse academic backgrounds, aiming to equip them with advanced and up-to-date technical knowledge in emerging fields of mechanical engineering. You will enhance your skills in the design and manufacturing of various electrical, mechanical, and thermal systems, their components, and in materials technology.
Graduates are prepared for roles as mechanical engineers in various sectors including utilities, transportation, infrastructure, the built environment, environmental services, precision design and manufacturing, and automation.

You need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Management, Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. A Second Class Honours or above, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university, is required.
The tuition fee for full-time study is HK$216,500, payable in two installments. For part-time study, the fee is HK$188,600, payable in four installments.
Students are required to complete at least 30 credits of MESF courses. With approval, up to 9 credits from IBTM or MECH postgraduate courses can also be used to fulfill program requirements.
Graduates are prepared for roles as Mechanical Engineers in sectors such as utilities, transportation, infrastructure, environmental services, and precision design and manufacturing.
