The MSc Management Analytics program is designed for students who want to bridge the gap between management, business economics, and data science. It equips you with the skills to use data analytics and artificial intelligence to create value and solve complex business problems. You will learn to make data-driven strategic and commercial decisions, preparing you to become a data-empowered manager. This track is part of the Research Master in Economics, offering a rigorous academic foundation.
The two-year Management Analytics track blends management, business economics, data science, and AI to tackle complex business problems across various domains like accounting, finance, strategy, marketing, and supply chain management. You will gain a strong foundation in business economics and data science methods, with the flexibility to tailor 35% of your electives to your specific interests within other tracks of the Research Master in Economics or regular MSc programs. A key feature is the mandatory internship in the fourth block of your first year, where you'll apply your skills to a real business problem.
Graduates are well-prepared for management careers, equipped with strong analytical capabilities to tackle complex business problems. The program allows for specialization in a business area or development as a generalist. Tuition fees are set for the 2026-2027 academic year. The institutional fee applies to non-EU/EEA students and EU/EEA students who have already obtained a Dutch Master's degree. The statutory fee of €2,694 applies to EU/EEA students who have not obtained a Dutch Master's degree and are eligible for Dutch student finance.
