
This part-time, online Master of Science (MSc) program is designed for active sports officials, such as referees, umpires, and judges, as well as those involved in coaching, developing, or administering officials. The course aims to enhance personal performance and the performance of those being developed. It utilizes the latest research and draws on evidence from various high-pressure fields like the military and NASA to help participants make effective decisions under pressure. The program is led by world-leading experts in sports officiating development and talent management. The course emphasizes self-reflection and uses research investigations to identify personal development areas. It combines contemporary research with peer support through online groups to critically evaluate performance. Participants will explore leadership, sports performance management, and organizational culture, examining their own leadership capabilities and their impact on teams and players. The flexible distance learning format allows professionals to continue their careers while studying. Students can also opt to study individual modules for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
