Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the BPS (British Psychological Society)
Applicants need a lower second-class Honours degree (or equivalent) in any discipline. While some prior university-level psychology study is preferred, it is not essential.
For the 2026/27 academic year, the tuition fee for international students is £26,250. This fee includes an automatic £8,000 Aberdeen Global Scholarship, reducing the effective tuition to £18,250 for self-funded students.
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency, for example, with an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 overall (minimum 5.5 in Listening, Reading, Speaking, and 6.0 in Writing) or a TOEFL iBT score of 90 overall.
The MSc Psychological Studies programme is 12 months full-time. You can choose to start the programme in either January or September.
