The MA by Research in Music allows you to undertake a focused research project that contributes originally to the field of music. This can be in historical, analytical, philosophical, critical, or empirical areas. You will be supported by a supervisory committee, including a principal supervisor and a personal tutor, with regular meetings and opportunities to present your work in seminars.

Entry requirements

First DegreeA British Bachelor's degree standard (or equivalent), normally in the first-class category.

IELTS6.5 overall (with no element below 6.0)
