This Occupational Therapy program at the University of Bradford offers a hands-on and collaborative learning experience designed to equip you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to become a registered Occupational Therapist. Successful completion of this course allows you to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist. A LevelsBBB from three full A levels. General Studies is not accepted.
T LevelsMerit in Health (must complete 'Supporting the Therapy Teams' or 'Adult Nursing Team' specialism) or Healthcare Science.
BTEC Extended DiplomaDDM in a Health or Science subject.
Access to Higher Education Diploma120 UCAS tariff points from an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Health Professions, Science or Social Science.
International Baccalaureate120 UCAS tariff points from 3 HL subjects. Plus Mathematics at HL2 or SL2 and English A HL 6 or SL 6 OR English B HL 7. GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade 4 (or equivalent) are also required.
IELTS7.0 overall with no sub-test less than 6.5
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed. All places are subject to a satisfactory occupational health screening, a second reference, and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Applicants with criminal convictions will undergo a separate panel process. For international students who do not meet direct entry requirements, the University of Bradford International College may be an option. Advanced entry is not currently available.
