This bachelor's program, modeled on the Oxford PPE, offers a comprehensive grounding in politics, philosophy, and economics. It aims to develop your ability to critically analyze complex social, political, and economic issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. The program encourages sensitivity to ethical challenges and fosters an understanding of social developments in a diverse and unequal world. You will learn to solve problems by examining them from complementary viewpoints. The first three semesters focus on foundational compulsory courses, after which you can specialize in one of three tracks: Politics & Philosophy, Economics & Politics, or Philosophy & Economics, shaping your elective choices and final thesis topic. A strong high school mathematics background is recommended for those interested in economics-focused specializations.
Graduates of the PPE program are equipped with diverse analytical and problem-solving skills applicable to a wide range of fields. The interdisciplinary nature of the program prepares students for careers that require understanding complex social, political, and economic interactions.
An English proficiency test is not required if you have studied in English at the secondary school level for at least two years, or at the university level for at least one year in a full degree program.
