Building on this, you will delve into advanced topics such as CAD, Digital Modeling, XR, material science, manufacturing technology, generative design, rendering, 3D visualization, animation, ergonomics, sustainable product design, and human-centered process design. A significant part of the program involves project work where you develop, implement, and present your design concepts and analyses. The program is supplemented by a practical phase, a Bachelor's thesis, and a colloquium. You can specialize in one of two elective areas: Innovation, Product Design and Digitality, or Space, Design and Mobility.
Graduates will be qualified for roles in design studios, companies, and agencies, or can pursue self-employment. The program equips students with skills in product development, digital design, and process management, making them valuable assets in various industries.
For international degrees, proof of equivalence must be provided. Applicants without direct university entrance qualifications may be admitted as guest students if they have a Hochschulzugangsberechtigung (HZB) examination permit. A portfolio is required for the artistic aptitude test if you do not have a direct university entrance qualification.
