Exemptions from English language tests are available for native English speakers or those with a university degree taught in English. Applicants from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan must submit an OMPT-A certificate with a minimum passing grade of 55%. An admission interview may be required after initial assessment. Documents must be in English or Lithuanian. Verified translations are needed for other languages.

Application fee is 100 EUR, non-refundable. Tuition fees for admitted students are due within 15 calendar days of offer acceptance for non-state-funded places.
How to apply
1. Choose Your Programme(s)Select up to three study programmes that align with your interests and career goals. Consider career opportunities, costs, and long-term fit.
2. Check Application DatesBe aware of the application deadlines: May 1 for non-EU/EFTA countries, and July 1 for EU/EFTA citizens and visa-exempt non-EU/EFTA applicants. The academic year starts on September 1.
3. Verify Eligibility and Prepare DocumentsConfirm you meet the general, programme-specific, and language proficiency requirements. For non-EU/EFTA applicants, your secondary education must be within the last 5 years. Prepare necessary documents, including transcripts, motivation letter, and English proficiency proof.
4. Submit Application and Pay FeeCreate an account on the apply.vu.lt portal, complete your online application, and pay the 100 EUR non-refundable application fee via Flywire. Submit all required documents before the deadline.
5. Attend Admission InterviewIf your application meets the criteria, you will be invited for a motivational interview to discuss your interest in the program.
6. Accept Offer and Pay Tuition FeeUpon assessment (within 30 days, potentially longer), you will receive an acceptance or rejection notification. If accepted, confirm your offer within 7 working days. EU/EFTA and other foreign citizens admitted to non-state-funded places must pay the annual tuition fee within 15 calendar days of the offer.
7. Arrange ArrivalAfter tuition payment and receiving the final acceptance letter, arrange for visa/residence permits if applicable. Dormitory applications open after tuition payment. The International Relations Office will provide further information for non-EU citizens.
