The Quantum Technology Laboratory (QTL) at Chalmers University of Technology focuses on cutting-edge research within the broad field of quantum technology. Our work spans quantum computing, quantum sensing, quantum transduction, quantum thermodynamics, and the fundamental aspects of quantum mechanics. We are deeply involved with the Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology (WACQT), a major initiative aiming to advance Swedish expertise in quantum technology and develop a quantum computer with over a hundred qubits. This advanced computer promises capabilities far exceeding today's supercomputers, with potential applications in complex optimization problems and molecular property calculations. Our research utilizes superconducting quantum circuits as the experimental platform. The QTL comprises five research groups, each led by distinguished professors and researchers in the field. We are actively publishing our findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting them at international conferences, contributing to the global advancement of quantum science and technology.
