
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Radiologic Technology is a 106 credit-hour program offered in an on-campus format, potentially including some online courses for degree completion. This program is a joint effort with Mercy Hospital St. Louis – School of Radiologic Technology. The initial two years are conducted at Lindenwood University, covering prerequisites and general education. The subsequent two years involve professional training at Mercy's accredited program. Students must apply separately to Mercy's competitive program during their second year, with no guarantee of acceptance due to limited seats. This curriculum includes essential subjects like human anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology. Students gain hands-on experience with advanced medical technology such as ultrasound, nuclear radiation, magnetic fields, and X-rays, preparing them to be skilled radiographers. Upon successful completion of all program requirements, graduates are eligible to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam.
