Applicants need a minimum of 60% in Math 30-1 (or 70% in Math 30-2), English Language Arts 30-1, Chemistry 30, and Biology 30.
Applicants must achieve Benchmark level 9 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing on the Enhanced Language Training Placement Assessment (ELTPA). Other tests like IELTS or TOEFL are not accepted for this program.
The Respiratory Therapy diploma program has a duration of 3 years.
Year one tuition for domestic students is $5,624.00 CAD, with additional mandatory fees of $1,780.00 CAD and an estimated $2,500.00 CAD for books, supplies, and instruments.
Graduates can work as Respiratory Therapists in acute care, community care, or diagnostic labs. With experience, roles in education, research, administration, or management within healthcare are possible.
