The Scandinavian Studies (Swedish) program at Vilnius University offers an in-depth exploration of the languages, cultures, history, and societies of the Nordic region. This bachelor's degree focuses on developing expertise in Swedish while also providing insights into other Nordic languages. Students will engage with a wide range of topics, from historical Viking sagas to contemporary cinema, comics, and societal issues like gender equality, ecology, and technology. Exemption from English language tests is possible for native English speakers or those with a university degree taught in English. Applicants from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan must submit an OMPT-C certificate with a minimum passing grade of 55%.
Tuition fees for EU/EFTA citizens and non-EU/EFTA citizens admitted to non-state-funded places are to be paid within 15 calendar days of receiving the study offer. The application fee is 100 EUR.
